Dear Mother...Love Albert (later retitled Albert!) is a British television sitcom that aired on ITV from 15 September 1969 to 6 June 1972. It was created by and starred Rodney Bewes. Bewes co-wrote and produced the series with Derrick Goodwin. The show regularly appeared in the TV ratings top ten throughout its three-year run.

Sheila White played Vivian, Albert’s landlady’s daughter, sharp and smart, rapping out her backstreet repartee and horrifying her genteel mother (Geraldine Newman). Albert eventually found work with a confectionery company, and at the end of the second series, he moved into a flat with two dolly birds.
Albert's love life has taken a turn for the serious - he is about to get engaged to Doreen. Her mother takes a more than passing interest in the choosing of the engagement ring and wants Albert to come and live with them so she can keep an eye on him!
