  1. Denise Dufort Dufort (born in London, 18 October 1958) is the third founding member of Girlschool who is still active. Before joining, she had played in a few punk bands [11] [12] and had become a fan of Painted Lady, the cover band formed by Kim McAuliffe and Enid Williams in their school days. [13]

Eventually the pair came across permanent members Kelly Johnson (guitar, vocals) and Denise Dufort (drums), and switched their name to Girlschool by 1978.
