  3. Diaboliad is an absolutely hilarious story, a funny satire of Soviet life. It is clearly inspired by Dostoevsky's The Double , exploring a typical office clerk stuck in an insanely bureaucratic system who eventually, due to some hilariously stupid events, loses his mind.
