guitar. Domenic Michele Antonio Troiano (January 17, 1946 – May 25, 2005) was a Canadian guitarist and songwriter, best known as a member of Mandala, Bush, James Gang, and The Guess Who. He also recorded music for film and television, often made guest appearances on other musicians' albums, and worked as a producer.
Although he is not widely known in the music world, Domenic Troiano is regarded as an extraordinary talent by those who are familiar with his work. He is a Canadian Music Hall of Fame member, and his signature guitar style can be found on many albums, including his five solo LPs.
A true musician's musician, Domenic Troiano holds a list of accomplishments as diverse as the styles of music he played through his career. Born in Italy, he grew up in Canada and quickly developed a love of rock & roll.

Before the implementation of Canadian content regulations, homegrown music was naturally very much segregated by region without the help of radio to expand a group’s listening audience. One of Toronto’s hottest new sounds in the mid 60’s was a ‘Blue-Eyed Soul’ groove.
