29 apr 2018 · Had no idea Don slipped into a 3 week coma and came out looking like another human afterwards, having lost all his muscle mass + his family leaving him at his hardest moment. That fight will forever live on as a fight where they both sacrificed so much for the viewers entertainment, sometimes we don't realize just how much they give up for this sport.

14 apr 2024 · Big fan of both guys and Tank was recently on Rampage’s podcast and was telling stories about the glory days. His fight with The Predator was a total firefight with Don ending up with the win after RNC the Tanker. One thing that Tank and others claim is that if Tank did not “trip” he would...
1 dic 2021 · Don Frye is the epitome of manliness and courage. No one is tougher than him (and Enson) Damn, you just threw Enson up and it caught off guard. He's long been a fighter for whom I have legitimate respect, and my favorite fighter for that. Dude has had an interesting life. Lots of highs and lows, and some pretty cool experiences.

Coleman had a huge size advantage. Frye was just above 200 pounds when he started MMA. But he went in there and took his beating like a man.
24 nov 2022 · 2) And then here's Frye in agony after the fight. The insane grit of Don Frye, who I know never for even one second considered it a possibility to tap, just mustaching his way through those Ken Shamrock heel hooks, enduring the pain, and still smiling and cracking jokes for a post-fight interview...legendary toughness.
28 gen 2014 · As far as pure toughness, Don Frye and Hendo would be on my list. Eventually their chins cracked, but both were durable and tough as nails. Roy Nelson is as well, along with Yoel (still fighting at 47 and only been finished in his 5th MMA fight). DDP is moving up the list, too.
