Dorothy Percy (née Devereux), Countess of Northumberland (formerly Perrot, née Devereux; c. 1564 – 3 August 1619) was the younger daughter of Walter Devereux, 1st Earl of Essex by Lettice Knollys, and the wife of Henry Percy, 9th Earl of Northumberland.

24 giu 2013 · The portrait was believed to be that of Lady Dorothy Percy, Countess of Leicester, although one former owner of Lamport Hall, Sir Gyles Isham, had suggested that it could be of her sister-in-law Lady Anne Cecil, Countess of Northumberland.
Lady Dorothy Percy ( c. 1598 – 20 August 1659); married Robert Sidney, 2nd Earl of Leicester, by whom she had six children. Lady Lucy Percy (1599/1600 – 5 November 1660); married as his second wife James Hay, 1st Earl of Carlisle.
Description. The letters of Dorothy Percy Sidney, Countess of Leicester, dating predominantly from about 1636 until 1643, cover a wide range of issues and vividly illustrate her centrality to her illustrious family's personal and public affairs.
