Once mated the Mourning doves quickly begin their nesting habits. They build their nest, which is a loose collection of twigs, grass, weeds, and pine needles. Taking only 2 - 4 days to complete. I stress loose because dove nest can be so lightly put together that often you can see the doves eggs from the bottom.
