Drama Centre London (often abbreviated as Drama Centre) was a British drama school in King's Cross, London, where it moved in 2011 after a major reshaping of the University of the Arts London. It was part of Central Saint Martins, a constituent college of the university.
We welcomed Drama Centre London in 1999 and the Byam Shaw School of Art in 2003. In 2011, we moved to our award-winning building in King’s Cross, where all of these elements now flourish and collide under one roof.
Drama Centre London was founded in 1963 by a visionary group of tutors and students, and has since became one of the top drama schools in London. It offers an inspirational, passionate environment for those who are resolutely serious about their acting careers.

The Drama Centre London was founded in 1963 by a breakaway group of teachers and students from the Central School of Speech and Drama, led by John Blatchley, Yat Malmgren and Christopher Fettes. The school was a member of Drama UK [13] and its undergraduate acting course was accredited by Drama UK. [14]
