Edmond Blanc, né le 22 février 1856 à Paris et mort le 12 décembre 1920 à Neuilly-sur-Seine, est un propriétaire-éleveur de chevaux de course et un homme politique français.
Edmond Blanc (22 February 1856 – 12 December 1920) was a horse breeder as well a French politician. He served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies from 1893 to 1894, and from 1898 to 1902, representing Hautes-Pyrénées.

2 apr 2022 · History. This race was first run in 1921 in memory of Edmond Blanc, one of the most influential French owners and breeders of all time, who died in December 1920. In fact, the first-ever winner of the race was one of his own stock, Le Filon II, in the colours he had made famous (orange jersey, blue cap) and which his widow adopted after his death.
Edmond Blanc. Edmond Blanc is a former railroader and turner-mill operator of the SNCF workshops in Arles, which has now become the Parc des Ateliers. He also worked for the train museum in Mulhouse where he restored the luggage carts of the Paris-Lyon-Méditerrannée.
