Wadsworth diventa membro del gruppo Unit One, fondato nel 1933 da Paul Nash per promuovere l’arte britannica moderna. Le sue opere sono esposte nel 1940 alla XXII Biennale di Venezia. L’artista muore a Londra il 21 giugno 1949.
