Home. Einar Stefánsson is a versatile Icelandic/Norwegian bass-baritone. Having studied at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, he is currently based in Oslo where he is continuing his training under the tutelage of renowned soprano Solveig Kringlebotn at the Opera School of the National Academy of the Arts.
Scientists Thorsteinn Loftsson and Einar Stefánsson have developed an eye drop that can deliver drugs to the back of the eye, replacing costly and invasive eye injections that are less accessible and require a medical professional to administer. Finalists for the European Inventor Award 2023.

9 mag 2023 · The Icelandic team of Thorsteinn Loftsson and Einar Stefánsson developed a novel technology which penetrates natural defences and delivers drugs to the back of the eye. The medication is enclosed in water-soluble complexes delivered by a conventional eyedrop to target sites deep within the eye.
