The sole member of El Perro del Mar, Sarah Assbring (born 1977 [1] ), initially started as an MP3 / CD-R artist and released her first songs through Hybris Records.

El Perro del Mar, pseudonimo di Sarah Assbring fa il suo debutto discografico nel 2005 con l’album “Look! It's El Perro del Mar!”. Comincia a farsi conoscere al grande pubblico l’anno successivo con il suo album omonimo trascinato dai singoli "God Knows (You Gotta Give to Get)" e "Candy".
