Elias Koteas (/ ˈ ɛ l i ə s k ə ˈ t eɪ ə s /; Greek: Ηλίας Κοτέας; born March 11, 1961) is a Canadian actor. He is known for playing Alvin "Al" Olinsky in the Chicago franchise, as well as appearing in lead and supporting roles in numerous films.

15 nov 2023 · While its possible that Chicago PD could find a way to bring Elias Koteas back as Alvin Olinsky, there does not appear to be any plans for the actor to return to the show and it seems highly unlikely. Too much time has passed, and touching tributes to the character have been made in subtler ways.
