It stars Susan Walters as Priscilla, and Dale Midkiff as Elvis Presley. Elvis and Me aired on ABC on February 7–8, 1988. The first part of the miniseries was ranked the week's fifth most-watched program, as well as ABC's highest-rated television film of the season.
The miniseries premiered on ABC in February 1988. In 2022, it was announced that Sofia Coppola would direct a film adaptation of the memoir, starring Cailee Spaeny as Priscilla and Jacob Elordi as Elvis. The film, titled Priscilla, premiered at the 80th Venice International Film Festival on September 4, 2023.

When she moves to Graceland, she feels like a princess. But her lover, the world-famous musician Elvis Presley, is rarely at home and increasingly resorts to drugs.
