Va da sé, l’apporto del DOP a queste opere si fa più che mai fondamentale.Le inquadrature così solo apparentemente spontanee, in realtà grandemente costruite, vengono ideate e riprodotte a velocità fulminee, seguendo le indicazioni meticolose di Malick e aggiungendo il fondamentale gusto di Lubezki che si era già definito in anni di precedente carriera.

He has collaborated multiple times with directors such as the Coen brothers, Sam Mendes, and Denis Villeneuve.
