  3. Our History | ENFIELD GRAMMAR SCHOOL. There is evidence that a school stood in the same area as EGS, Enfield Chantry School, from c. 1398–1558, and is the predecessor of Enfield Grammar School. The school has its origins in the 1462 will of Agnes Myddleton, which left an estate at Poynetts in Essex to set up a chantry chapel in St Andrew’s church.

  4. Curriculum & Learning. The purpose of the Enfield Grammar School Curriculum is to allow our students to develop intellectually, socially and personally and allow them to find their place in our world. We aim to instil an enjoyment of life, embracing its challenges with resilience and purpose.

  5. Our next FEGS meeting will be held in the Upper School, Room 8, at 7:30 pm, on Wednesday 15th May. We're excited to welcome as many of you as possible to the meeting. Don't forget to bring your thinking caps, ideas, and notepads so we can brainstorm some fantastic fundraising ideas for our school.
