Ernst Carl Julius Albrecht (29 June 1930 – 13 December 2014) was a German politician of the Christian Democratic Union and a former high-ranking European civil servant. He was one of the first European civil servants appointed in 1958 and served as Director-General of the Directorate-General for Competition from 1967 to 1970.

16 lug 2019 · Cinque anni dopo, nel 1976, Ernst Albrecht viene eletto primo ministro della Bassa Sassonia (sostanzialmente un governatore regionale in Italia, anche se con molti più poteri conferitigli dal sistema federale tedesco), carica che ricoprirà fino al 1990. Nel frattempo, nel 1977, Ursula si iscrive alla facoltà di economia a Gottinga.
