Etsuko Nakanishi (Nakanishi Etsuko, born 11th July, 1977) is one of the current members of the Japanese band Shonen Knife.
She is currently the band's drummer.
Before joining the band, Etsuko was their temporary drummer for certain live tours. Her first performance with them was on Jaunary 30th, 2005.
It was until 24th March, 2006 that Etsuko was then given full band membership. She is also a former band member of the band Pink Panda.
Etsuko, along with the other fellow band members Naoko and Ritsuko keep their own blog and post info on everyday life and current tours.

She was replaced by new full-time drummer Etsuko Nakanishi. The 2011 lineup of Shonen Knife (L-R: Ritsuko Taneda, Naoko Yamano, Emi Morimoto) In late 2006, Atsuko Yamano left the band to get married and move to the United States. This left Naoko Yamano as the last remaining original member of the band.

中西悦子. drummer. Etsuko Nakanishi is a drummer known most recently for being in the Japanese rock trio Shonen Knife. Career. She initially began her career with Shonen Knife as one of many temporary drummers, first playing with the group on January 30, 2005 during a show in Osaka with The Shins.
