29 giu 2021 · Directed by A. Edward Sutherland, “Every Day’s a Holiday” is a tame showcase for its controversial star (by 1938, she was deemed box-office poison). It still has the typical charm one would expect from a feel-good 1930's film, but as a Mae West showcase, the spicy humor is missing. By this time – 1937, the censors had scrubbed West clean.
