9 mag 2007 · Fortunatamente Fantasia 2000 recupera quello short, dato che, per il resto, sembra montato con gli scarti non confluiti nel primo (ma di alta qualità, s'intende!) e, se si esclude una divertente versione del diluvio universale, con Paperino protagonista (sulle note di Pomp and circumstances di Sir Edward Elgar), pare quasi che sia stato imposta ai realizzatori la paratassi musica/immagini.
Fantasia 2000 avrebbe potuto costituire però un compendio di ciò che l'animazione era diventata fino a quel momento, offrendo un cocktail di stili e tecniche differenti, nonché un assaggio di ciò che il futuro avrebbe potuto portare.
