Ferdy Mayne or Ferdie Mayne (born Ferdinand Philip Mayer-Horckel; 11 March 1916 – 30 January 1998) was a German-British stage and screen actor. Born in Mainz, he emigrated to the United Kingdom in the early 1930s to escape the Nazi regime. He resided in the UK for the majority of his professional career.
Ferdy Mayne (1916-1998) was a character actor who played many menacing roles in British films of the 1950s, 60s and 70s. He was best known as Count von Krolock in The Fearless Vampire Killers and The Vampire Happening.

Ferdy Mayne was a German-born character actor who lent a silky, urbane quality to numerous menacing roles in British films of the 1950's, 60's and 70's. He was of Jewish background, left Germany for England in 1932, and died of Parkinson's disease in 1998.
