13 ott 2005 · FERN HILL is a coming of age story about four 13 year old boys who on a weekend in 1987 hike into the mountains of Colorado in search of a father and a lost plane. The unexplained mystery of Colin's father and his small Cesna that disappeared seven years ago compels him to find an answer, or at least try.
Fern Hill. With help from his friends (Daniel James, Myles Bruce), a boy (David James) ventures into the Colorado wilderness to find his father's missing plane.

The film follows Colin (David James), who's father's plane went down eight years ago. One night Colin has a dream that the answers to what happen to his father lie in a distant part of the Colorado wilderness known as Fern Hill.
Eight years after his pilot father disappears during a routine business flight, 13-year-old Colin enlists his buddies, Kenny, Seth and Bobby, to join him on a trip into the mysterious Fern Hill woods to locate the wreckage of his dad’s plane.
