Lady Frances Balfour (née Campbell; 22 February 1858 – 25 February 1931) was a British aristocrat, author, and suffragist. She was one of the highest-ranking members of the British aristocracy to assume a leadership role in the Women's suffrage campaign in the United Kingdom.

19 apr 2022 · Le Musée d’art de Nantes a acquis en 1991 une huile sur toile du peintre préraphaélite anglais Edward Burne-Jones, “Portrait de Lady Frances Balfour ” exécuté en 1880. Il est ainsi dans l’hexagone un des rares musées de France à posséder une œuvre de ce mouvement peu connu.
On 12 May 1879 Lady Frances Campbell married Eustace James Anthony Balfour, youngest brother of Arthur James Balfour, later prime minister. In 1889 Lady Frances began her political work when she joined the campaign to secure women's suffrage and became a leader of the constitutional suffragists.
