Frank Black o Black Francis, pseudonimo di Charles Michael Kittridge Thompson IV (Boston, 6 aprile 1965), è un cantautore e chitarrista statunitense, giunto al successo, negli anni novanta, come frontman della band statunitense Pixies.
He is best known as the frontman of the alternative rock band Pixies, with whom he performs under the stage name Black Francis. Following the band's breakup in 1993, he embarked on a solo career under the name Frank Black.

Frank Black ist ein US-amerikanischer Musiker. Von 1986 bis 1993 war er Sänger und Gitarrist der Alternative-Rock-Band Pixies, veröffentlichte dann eine Reihe erfolgreicher Soloalben und ist seit der Wiedervereinigung der Pixies im Jahr 2004 erneut deren Frontmann.
