Fraternity were an Australian rock band that formed in Sydney in 1970 and relocated to Adelaide in 1971. Former members include successive lead vocalists Bon Scott (who later joined AC/DC), John Swan (who also played drums and later had a solo career), and his brother Jimmy Barnes (Cold Chisel).

Bio. Once over-hyped as potential superstars of Aussie progressive rock, early-70s hippie collective Fraternity might have been entirely forgotten in history, had their singer not been Ronald Belford "Bon" Scott -- future legendary front-man for AC/DC.

Former members include successive lead vocalists Bon Scott (who later joined AC/DC ), John Swan (who also played drums and later had a solo career), and his brother Jimmy Barnes ( Cold Chisel ).
Fraternity took influences from a few different directions, and that's reflected in this album - in contrast to the proggier moments, there is the Stephen Stills-like title track, and The Band-like "Summerville", and some poppier moments like "Cool Spot" and "Jupiter Landscape" (though the latter still has a slightly proggy keyboard part).
