Having stumbled upon it by coincidence late one night on British Satellite TV I was pleasantly surprised with my discovery. The show hasn't been overly advertised and, thus, a smaller than deserved audience has been netted, although I'm sure that anyone who has had the fortune to witness "Fun At The Funeral Parlour" has become an instant fan.
Fun at the Funeral Parlour was a comedy series broadcast on BBC Choice and BBC Three for two series in 2001 and 2002. It was set in a Welsh funeral directors called "Thomas, Thomas, Thomas and Thomas". It is set around the Swansea area of south Wales in the fictitious town of Trebanos in tribute to the writer's father who came from the real town in that area.

Somewhere in South Wales (Great Britain), the funeral company Thomas, Thomas, Thomas & Thomas run their business. They are lead by their father Ivor, who’s terribly afraid of corpses. He isn’t much better with the living. His wife ran off a long time ago with an Oompa Loompa (yes the one from "Charlie And The Chocolate Factory").
