Gael García Bernal (Guadalajara, 30 novembre 1978) è un attore, regista, sceneggiatore e produttore cinematografico messicano, interprete di numerose pellicole prodotte nel suo paese e assurto al successo internazionale impersonando il giovane Ernesto Guevara de la Serna ne I diari della motocicletta.
García Bernal was nominated for a BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his portrayal of a young Che Guevara in The Motorcycle Diaries in 2005, and in 2016 won his first Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Television Series Musical or Comedy for Mozart in the Jungle.
