Turin Brakes are an English band, comprising original duo of Olly Knights and Gale Paridjanian, and long-term collaborators Rob Allum and Eddie Myer. They had a UK top 5 hit in 2003 with their song " Painkiller (Summer Rain) ".

5 ott 2021 · Gale Paridjanian is the latest member of Turin Brakes to announce a brand-new music project. The new album HIFILOFI SCIFIWIFI will be released under the artist name GALE P. The first song There She Goes is streaming now, and it’s a great tune featuring some guitar wizardry and lovely lyrics.
Turin Brakes’s debut single was released in 1999. The film was never made. Olly Knights was born around the corner to Paridjanian in 1976. He boasts `English, Irish and Norwegian’ blood and looks forward to the day when he ends up, along with the other men in his family, looking like `a huge Norwegian bear’.
12 dic 2021 · HIFILOFI SCIFIWIFI is the debut solo album from Gale P, best known as the co -founder, guitarist and occasional singer of acoustic-indie stalwarts Turin Brakes. Born in Tehran, based in Brixton, Gale Paridjanian was raised in the multicultural melting pot of South London in a family home full of musical instruments.
