Gaspard de Coligny, seigneur de Châtillon (16 February 1519 – 24 August 1572), was a French nobleman, Admiral of France, and Huguenot leader during the French Wars of Religion.

Segnalatosi nel 1545 nelle operazioni contro Boulogne, fu nominato (1547) generale in capo della fanteria e ammiraglio di Francia (1552): carica, quest'ultima, che egli non esercitò mai effettivamente, anche se popolarmente fu chiamato l' Amiral.
