17 apr 2024 · For American ska bands, I recommend The Toasters and Bim Skala Bim, who formed in the early 80s. They're not considered "Two Tone" bands but they were two of the first American ska bands to become widely popular and helped launch and sustain the ska scene on the East Coast after Two Tone had fizzled out in the UK.
