Geoffrey Lewis war zweimal verheiratet. Insgesamt wurde er Vater von zehn Kindern, eines davon ist die Schauspielerin Juliette Lewis.

7 apr 2015 · Bucolic American actor Geoffrey Lewis was a stalwart member of the Clint Eastwood stock company. First appearing opposite Eastwood in Thunderbolt and Lightfoot (1974) Lewis has gone on to substantial roles in such Eastwood vehicles as Broncho Billy (1980) Any Which Way You Can (1981) and Pink Cadillac (1988).
Lewis was born in London in 1920 and educated at University College School and St John's College, Oxford (MA 1945, DPhil 1950; James Mew Arabic Scholar, 1947). At St John's College Lewis initially studied Classics. With the outbreak of the Second World War, he served from 1940 to 1945 as a radar operator in the Royal Air Force.
