Gerald William Abrams (born September 26, 1939) [1] is an American television producer who has produced many TV movies starting in the mid-1970s. [2] Abrams was born on September 26, 1939, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, [1] to Samuel David Abrams (1908–1990), who was of Polish-Jewish descent, [3] and his wife Lilian (1909–1998). [4]
Gerald W. Abrams has produced over 70 films. He is best known for Houdini (2014), Nuremberg (2000), and Family of Spies (1990). Houdini is Cable Television's top rated Miniseries of 2014.
