Thomas Joseph Gerard Victory (24 December 1921 – 14 March 1995) was a prolific Irish composer. He wrote over two hundred works across many genres and styles, including tonal, serial, aleatoric and electroacoustic music.

Gerard Victory was president of UNESCO’s International Rostrum of Composers (1981-83) and was a member of Aosdána, Ireland’s state-sponsored academy of creative artists. He was awarded the Order of Arts and Letters and the Order of Merit by the French and German Governments respectively. Contemporary Music Centre, Ireland.
