Brief Synopsis. Everyday objects rebel against their daily routine in this experimental short film.
Rye spent time in the United States, working in theatre and as a painter before returning to London and Thorp turned his attention to his film practice. Thorp and Rye create videos often dreamt up at the same time as the songs - ‘song films’, bringing together their disciplines in music, sound design, scenic art and film art installation.

Hans Richter’s Dadaist animated short film is one of the classics of the avant-garde, delighting through its quick-paced rhythmic editing as ordinary objects rebel against their typical use. The Nazis attempted to destroy the film, resulting in the disappearance of its original score.
