Già dagli esordi con i Mr. Bungle , gruppo fondato quando ha appena 16 anni, Patton non pone freni alla sua creatività, passando dal death metal allo ska , dal jazz d’avanguardia alla disco, talvolta anche all’interno dello stesso brano.
