Juliana, Countess of Stolberg-Wernigerode (15 February 1506 in Stolberg, Saxony-Anhalt – 18 June 1580) was the mother of William the Silent, the leader of the successful Dutch Revolt against the Spanish in the 16th century.

Era figlia dell'elettore palatino Federico IV, che fu elettore dal 1583 al 1610, e di Luisa Giuliana di Nassau, figlia di Guglielmo I d'Orange. Sposò a Heidelberg il 24 luglio 1616 Giorgio Guglielmo , elettore di Brandeburgo e Duca di Prussia dal 1619 al 1640.
26 set 2018 · Juliana of Stolberg was born on 15 February 1506 as the daughter of Bodo VIII, Count of Stolberg-Wernigerode and Anna of Eppstein-Königstein and her baptism took place ten days later. She would be one of 12 children, and just two of those did not survive to adulthood. It would be a happy childhood with many playmates.
Nacque a Dillenburg in Germania il 10 gennaio 1538, terzogenito di Guglielmo il Ricco e di Giuliana di Stolberg. Fu educato nella religione luterana. Finiti gli studî, raggiunse nel 1556 suo fratello Guglielmo il Taciturno nei Paesi Bassi, e partecipò alle imprese guerresche nel Nord della Francia.
