The Godolphin and Latymer School is a private day school for girls in Hammersmith, West London . The school motto is an ancient Cornish phrase, Francha Leale Toge, which translates as "free and loyal art thou". The school crest includes a double-headed white eagle, Godolphin in Cornish signifies a white eagle. [1]

What is Godolphin and Latymer School like? The Godolphin and Latymer School boasts a surprisingly serene six-acre campus close to the river in the west of London. It offers one of the most academically rigorous girls' only school experiences in London, for girls aged 11 - 18.
middle school curriculum At the end of Year 9 students choose their GCSE subjects. The core curriculum consists of English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Triple Award Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology), and a Modern Foreign Language (French, German, Spanish, Italian or Mandarin)
History. The Godolphin and Latymer School is a day school for 800 girls aged between 11 and 18. It began in 1861 as the Godolphin School, a boys’ boarding school set in fields near the River Thames in Hammersmith. Our main buildings date from this time.
