Going Postal also makes good use of an impressive British cast. The actors were chosen perfectly, bringing to life the unique and fascinating characters that populate Sir Terry’s books.

The snake, which has been named ‘vasuki indicus’, was about 15 metres long, weighed a tonne and was not venomous. In fact it would seem to be similar to a modern-day python but slithered around in what was swamp land 50 million years ago.

In 1709, on the “Fredericus Quartus”, some of the 435 slaves got free from their chains and rebelled. After a tough struggle, the rebellion was defeated.
