21 ago 2007 · Willie Nile's 2nd album "Golden Down", follows his great debut of 1980. This album is about just as strong, he uses about the same band except for bass player the late Fred "sonic" Smith of MC5 fame. Paul Shaffer (David Letterman) joins Willie on 6 of these songs.

22 mag 2023 · Paul Shaffer was David Letterman's on-air right-hand man on Late Night with David Letterman from 1982 to 1993. He was also the musical director and band leader for the NBC show. From 1993 to 2015, Shaffer was the band leader and musical director for the CBS show Late Show with David Letter man.
