11 ago 2020 · Goodricke College (I bet all colleges in Uni of York) is (are) the best accommodation. As a student at Management School, it is literally 30 seconds of walking from Goodricke College, and I can maximise my sleep time.
Goodricke Junior Common Room. The Junior Common Room (JCR) is a great space for Goodricke members to socialise and relax. Inside you'll find a widescreen TV and projectors, gaming consoles, board games, a football table, two darts boards, a table tennis table and a piano. The JCR can be booked for small personal events.
Goodricke College is a college of the University of York. It was founded in 1968 and named after the astronomer John Goodricke. The college has approximately 1500 undergraduate members, of which some 500 live in college accommodation, and about 140 postgraduate members, of which most live in college accommodation.
Your accommodation offer will be for a room in one of our colleges and when you arrive, you’ll move into your college and they’ll be there to welcome you. If you decide to live off campus , don’t worry, you’ll still become a member of a college and gain access to their common room, events, support and guidance.
