Gregory Daniel Davies (/ ˈ d eɪ v ɪ s / DAY-viss; born 14 May 1968) is a Welsh comedian, actor, presenter, and writer. He is best known for his role as Mr Gilbert in The Inbetweeners, and the Taskmaster in Taskmaster. He also starred as Dan Davies in Man Down and Ken Thompson in Cuckoo.
