5 feb 2021 · For what is fundamentally a side project for two performers with their fingers in so many pies, it’s amazing to realise that Halcyon Hymns is the fourth Downes Braide Association studio release. An early contender for album of the year, it would be fabulous to hear it played live when the time comes. Buy from Amazon.

18 feb 2021 · Easily their best album yet, this fourth outing from Geoff Downes and Chris Braide is a brilliant showcase of catchy songwriting and lush arrangements. The strong foundational material of Downes realizes its full potential in the hands and voice of Braide, an artist who deserves much more recognition.
