Held Up reiht sich in die Riege der lustigen Filme ein. Leider schafft es der Film aber nicht die Komik von Booty Call oder speziell Breakin all the Rules zu erreichen. Waren die Beiden genannten Filme zwar auch relativ flach und plum im Humor, waren diese aber dennoch genial und fantastisch lustig umgesetzt.
