Henry Steel Olcott (2 agosto 1832 – 17 febbraio 1907) fu un agronomo, ufficiale militare americano, giornalista, avvocato e cofondatore della Società Teosofica. Dal 1875 fino al 1905 ricoprì la carica di Presidente Fondatore. Fu anche il primo personaggio rinomato americano, di antica origine europea, a convertirsi formalmente al Buddismo.
