Being famous rock stars, Ami and Yumi tour the globe in their customized Puffy bus, a veritable condo on wheels with all the major amenities and an ever-changing interior.

Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi depicts characters with the same name and profession as the actual PUFFY members but with different appearances and exaggerated personalities: Ami Onuki , the older one of the duo is depicted as a peppy, optimistic, and cute girl with vivid pink coloured hair and eyes.
