Hildebrand Gurlitt (15 September 1895 – 9 November 1956) was a German art historian and art gallery director who dealt in Nazi-looted art as one of Hitler's and Goering's four authorized dealers for "degenerate art".

La Collezione Gurlitt era una raccolta di circa 1.500 opere d'arte ottenute dal defunto mercante d'arte tedesco Hildebrand Gurlitt (1895-1956) che passò dapprima a sua moglie Helene e, in seguito alla morte di quest'ultima, al figlio Cornelius Gurlitt, deceduto nel 2014.

Er war von 1925 bis 1930 Leiter des König-Albert-Museums in Zwickau und von 1931 bis 1933 Leiter des Kunstvereins in Hamburg. Während der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus arbeitete er als Kunsthändler.
