Hill House is a family run school welcoming children from all over the world. We celebrate the individual and together we enjoy an energetic, inclusive and diverse community. Our school offers a nurturing environment that encourages each child to take risks, realise their full potential and develop and a life long love of learning.
Nursery Education Grant for all four-year-olds and most three-year-olds (15 or 30 hours free Early Years Provision) Maximum of 45 children per session. Staff / pupil ratio of 1:8. Open from 8.00am – 6.00pm in term time. Adventure playground. School holiday activity programme run by our own staff. Home-made food with family service at lunch time.
Hill House offers a very full and vibrant programme of extra-curricular activities, which are additional to those offered as part of the normal school day. Over 100 activities are offered each term, which take place either before school, at lunchtime or after school, most of which are included in the school fees.
Hill House runs a variety of clubs in the school for children of all ages on Friday afternoons. These cover a wide range of activities including Football, Cricket, Tennis, Squash, Art, Chess, Singing and Cooking. Having taught at Hill House School for a number of years from 1992, including holding the role of ‘Head of Middle School’, Rachel then moved overseas to continue her career in Education. Whilst overseas she held a range of leadership roles in International Baccalaureate schools.
