For me, I come from a musical background where I’ve heard a lot of stuff over the years, and I have an appreciation for ethnic styles of all kinds, as long as it’s really high quality. But flamenco, I’d probably heard it around the house, and watching Jose Greco on the Ed Sullivan Show, and other sort-of public television specials that you’d see over the last 30-40 years.
