Hugo Arndt Rodolf, Baron van Lawick (10 April 1937 – 2 June 2002) was a Dutch wildlife filmmaker and photographer. Through his still photographs and films, Van Lawick helped popularize the study of chimpanzees during his wife Jane Goodall's studies at Gombe Stream National Park during the 1960s and 1970s.

13 mar 2018 · When Hugo Eric Louis van Lawick’s father retired in 1998, he moved into his son’s home in Tanzania, which is on the compound of Dr. Goodall’s old home where her work is based. Like his mother, van Lawick is also an animal rights activist. In 2010, van Lawick appeared in the biopic, Jane’s Journey.
