Ian Blackford (born 14 May 1961) is a Scottish politician who served as Leader of the Scottish National Party (SNP) in the House of Commons from 2017 to 2022. He has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ross, Skye and Lochaber since 2015.

ABOUT IAN. Ian Blackford is the MP for the constituency of Ross, Skye and Lochaber in the Scottish Highlands. First elected in May 2015, he has been a member of the Scottish National Party (SNP) since the late 70’s. After the 2017 general election he was elected leader of the SNP Westminster parliamentary group.
